Take special care to read all the terms and conditions mentioned below. When reservations are made on your behalf for any of the tours described, these terms and conditions will constitute your acceptance and will make up part of the contract with Cassis Tours.


PRICES :
The prices quoted each in this brochure are in CDN dollars. Some Airlines require full
payment at time of booking.

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS :
Reservations should be made as early as possible to insure the departure of your choice.
All amounts are per person. A deposit of $500CDN per person will be required at time of booking. The balance will be due in total 45 days before departure date. At the time of reservation it is imperative that the full name of the traveler as it appears in the passport be submitted. Failure to do so may incur additional costs. Cruises re- quire full payment
60-90 days prior departure.

CREDIT CARDS :
We accept VISA, Master Card, and American Express. Authorization of the use of the credit card indicates your approval of the terms and conditions and upon approval confirm your reservation whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Credit card payments will be processed in Canadian Funds.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS :

After your vacation has been confirmed, and deposits or final payment given, we can assist you with some changes in your reservation for a fee of $100US (some other fees may also apply according to the new program or product selected and how many days before departure).

ACCOMMODATIONS :

All accommodations are provided as described. If for whatever reason the hotel property is not available we reserve the right to substitute the hotel accommodation with a similar or better category.

CANCELLATION POLICY :

Charges will be based on the date on which cancellation notice is received. In order to
determine the time of cancellation, the departure date will be excluded. No refund can be made for any accommodations, services not used. If cancellation occurs while the trip is in progress, no refund can be made for the unused portion. Deposit towards a booking constitutes full knowledge and acceptance of the cancellation policy. Regardless of the cause, the following terms will apply upon cancellation.

NON REFUNDABLE :
46 days and more before departure - $500CDN per person 45 days to departure - Cruises 60-90 days 100% of total amount per person Cancelling or changing (including name correction) of air reservation before or after departure may result in an airline penalty ranging from deposit to total cost of the ticket depending on the airline and ticket restrictions. We strongly recommend the purchase of “Trip cancellation Insurance”.

TOUR PACKAGES :
The packages offered are as described and any unused portion is not refundable. The tour packages have been organized and arranged using the services of a number of outside operators, for which Cassis Tours cannot be held responsible. We shall be held exempt from any liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness or injury however and by whomever caused and whatever kind, occurring of or to passenger at any time.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS :
All travelers must be in possession of a passport. It must be valid past 6 months after the return date of the trip. Please contact your travel agent for visa formalities to certain destinations and any vaccinations required.

INSURANCE :
It is recommended that passengers contact their insurance agents or travel agents and review the following areas: - Tour cancellation or interruption - trip delay - Medical expenses and emergency assistance - Accidental death - Baggage loss or delay these coverage’s are available from Cassis Tours upon request.

BAGGAGE :
Air carriers have individual rules and regulations with respect to baggage weight, size and number of checked pieces Extraordinary requirements should be mentioned at time of booking. Please contact your travel agent for dimensions. Excess baggage charges are the responsibility of the passenger.
 
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY :
Customers are responsible for advising Cassis Tours of their intentions, expectations and special needs, as they relate to the proposed travel, before the reservation is completed.
 
COSTS NOT INCLUDED :
Expenses of obtaining a passport, laundry,wines, liquor, bottled water, all items not
mentioned or items of a personal nature. Excessive baggage charges, lost baggage, health and accident charges, trip cancellation charges. As well as tipping, is the responsibility of the passenger.

FUTURE TRAVEL :
At completion of the booked package, we will ask to have a comment questionnaire completed. We wish to keep on improving our destinations we value your options.
 
HEALTH :
Customers whose physical condition so requires must ensure that they have a sufficient quantity of any required medication with them, and that they must carry such medication in their hand baggage at all times. Customers must also consult competent medical authorities prior to departure about preventative medical measures to be taken as regards to the countries to be visited.

AGREEMENT :
This agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Quebec. Any legal action instituted against Cassis Tours must be heard before the courts of this province. For the purposes of any such proceedings, the parties hereby agree to elect domicile in the judicial district of the Canadian gateway city in question. The voiding of one or other of the clauses hereto shall neither annul nor invalidate this agreement which is known as the “Terms and Conditions”.

Cassis Tours is registered as a travel wholesaler in Quebec licence no.800247.

After these dates prices may be modified in the event of an increase in taxes, and any additional fees or the fluctuation of the dollar.

Prices exclude $3.50 per $1000 client contribution to the indemnity fund.
